About the Variable Neon Slug
This relatively large species can grow more than 120 mm long and shows a considerable range in color. The Variable Neon slug is a large dark-bodied nudibranch which may have green stripes running down the length of the body and has raised green spots. They feed on ascidians and have even been observed feeding on the green-ringed ascidian
Location & Habitat
Variable Neon Slugs are found in the Tropical Indo-West Pacific Oceans. they can be found inhabiting coral reefs.
Because they live in coral reefs their are high risk factors from pollution and over fishing from humans.

- It stores the ascidian's toxins in its tissues and then releases them in a slimy defensive mucus when alarmed
